Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
